Louisa Krause was born in New York City. She was best known as Anna Garner, the main character of The Girl Experience. Brenda Woodberg, her first movie appearance, was in Babysitters. Krause was studying drama in the college as well as appearing in numerous off-Broadway performances. Krause also appeared in the New York location of episodes of networks' TV shows. Professionally, her father is of an ethnic background of Japanese descent and her mother comes from the US. Nathaniel's younger brother Nathaniel works as a film director. She found her interest in the arts from a young age when she began studying dance at the Washington School of Ballet in Washington D.C. Once she was in high school, dance became less of a priority when she began to perform in Henry Krieger's Bill Russell's variety of plays and musicals including Side Show as Violet Hilton. The fall of final year of high school, Krause was enrolled in Carnegie Mellon Drama School. Krause started her acting career shortly following. In the Musical Aida was the show in which she got her Equity Card. Louisa Krause started her career as a theatre actress. She made her debut in 2006 at The Huntington Theatre Company. She played Iphigenia In the production of Signature Theatre Company's Iphigenia 2 from 2007.
